on commenting

first and foremost, this is my blog.  it discusses my opinions via my writings on Borderline Personality Disorder from my point of view.  i call things as i see them.  if you don’t like how i run things around here, go get your own blog.

at this point, i’m really focused on the diagnosis  of BPD and the specific skills addressed in DBT.  if you don’t know anything about either of these things and are curious, there are many, many excellent websites with some very useful information.  go check them out.  if, after reading those websites, you still feel compelled to comment on this blog, there are a few things i require, so please keep these guidelines in mind:

  • write an opinion before you “share your experience.”
  • comments that proceed from the premise that BPD is not a valid diagnosis or that it is “untreatable” won’t be approved.
  • this is not a place for literary criticism.  from time to time, i’m going to write the most wretched poe-eeee-treeeee.  that’s my prerogative.  i don’t write it for anyone’s approval.  i write it for myself.
  • do not presume to tell me what i think or what i “mean” in any blog post.

kindly remember that i’ve not forced you to read this blog against your will.  i’ve not solicited your comments.  if what i write here isn’t your cuppa tea, don’t read it.  go away.  i don’t care if you disagree with me and i don’t owe you anything.
